Light Therapy

Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is a preventative and restorative technology,
changing the way you care for your whole family!

Light Therapy is a safe, non-invasive technology built to change the way you care for you and your family through all of life’s events – BIG or SMALL.

Light emitting diodes (LEDs) emit near infrared (NIR) light or light of various colors (polychromatic). Applying these diodes with various wavelengths and frequencies of light to the body stimulates a cellular response that triggers the release of nitric oxide.

Nitric Oxide is considered the master molecule involved in every biological function in the body and its release ignites a cascade of beneficial chemical reactions that stimulate healing throughout damaged nerve cells. As it is released it enters the muscle cells in the walls of the blood vessels. The muscle cells relax as the blood vessel diameter enlarges, allowing more blood flow for increased circulation, lymphatic flow, collagen production, angiogenesis (blood vessel formation), and decreased inflammation and pain.  Nitric oxide is one part nitrogen and one part oxygen and communicates to every cell in your body – telling it when and how to operate. It’s first action is increasing circulation, which we have been taking for granted!

Circulation is the flow of your body and is essential for everything from blood, oxygen and nutrients to lymphatics, hormones and neurotransmitters. True health is to experience the ease of flow! When the flow of circulation and vitality is constricted or blocked, we can experience pain and discomfort in a variety of ways. Returning a healthy flow is essential in supporting our bodies, while allowing in the good (nutrients, neurotransmitters, etc.) and filtering out the bad (toxins).

Inflammation and pain occur when there are low levels of oxygen and blood flow in an area. By increasing blood and lymphatic circulation, pain and inflammation are naturally reduced. NASA began studying LED light therapy several decades ago and found it decreased the time needed to heal injured NAVY Seals by 40%.  Light therapy continues to showcase as a way to reduce pain, maintain athletic performance, enhance overall well being, and dramatically speed up wound healing, TBI and post-surgery recovery.

Light therapy taps into the stored energy and potential within our cells, stimulating the body’s innate healing chemistry, allowing for regeneration through the nerves, skin, soft tissue, connective tissue and bone. Any regeneration requires oxygen, nutrients and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) growth factors and the only way to deliver these is through proper circulation. Increased circulation has far reaching benefits for the whole body and the whole family.
